Angela's next adventure took her to Helsinki, Finland! In Helsinki, daylight didnít come until closer to 10 am and sunset around 4pm. There was not much time to enjoy the day!

I was surprised to discover the president of Finland is a woman! They have very liberal policies that are very caring for the women of Finland. Once a woman has a baby in Finland, she receives a stipend each month until the child's 15th birthday!

I met the Finland school's librarian, Helga Jaske Inge. There was fresh fallen snow everywhere and the temperature was -28ļ below zero! Angela learned how the Lapp children made special earrings that looked like the sun to keep them safe. She wore three layers of clothing to stay warm!

There were two programs in which Angela told stories to the students. Here is a photo in the library telling stories.
