Since ancient times, the telling of tales has been the magical fabric that weaves together the great themes of Life reminding us of the Universal truths that create rich loving communities from one generations to the next.

Louisiana's best known storytellers, select their favorite stories containing themes of self-esteem, peace, self-empowerment and understanding to touch the hearts of our youth. These stories will appeal to both adults and children. It is our hope that this project will be a model for other creative individuals to gather in a joint effort to improve the quality of life and instill peace and harmony where they live and work.
